SCCI Overview
The Surkhet Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) was established in 1981 A.D. (2038 B.S.). Located in Birendranagar, Surkhet—formerly the regional headquarters of the Mid-Western Development Region—the Chamber was founded as a leading institution representing the overall private sector of the region. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to the sustainable growth and development of the private sector.
Since its inception, the Chamber has played a vital role in the promotion and development of agriculture, industry, trade, and service sectors in the region. It has been actively engaged in safeguarding the rights and interests of entrepreneurs and business communities, contributing to policy advocacy, fostering coordination, and supporting the expansion of economic activities.
The Surkhet Chamber of Commerce and Industry is recognized as the only ISO-certified institution in Western Nepal. Currently, the Chamber has approximately 7,300 affiliated members and around 21 commodity-based committees operating under its umbrella.
Situated in Birendranagar, the capital of Karnali Province, the Chamber plays an active role in coordinating with local, provincial, and federal governments in shaping business strategies. It also serves as a strong bridge between the public and private sectors, contributing significantly to overall economic development.
Through its continuous efforts in protecting and promoting the interests of the business community, the Chamber has established itself as a leading, credible, and influential institution across the country.

The Surkhet Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) is the leading institution representing the private sector of Western Nepal. Established in 1981 A.D., the Chamber has been at the forefront of promoting sustainable growth and development across agriculture, industry, trade, and services.

Our mission is to uplift the country through local and socio economic development of lekhnath by promoting and strengthening the business community
Services:
1. Trade Promotion:
LCCI provides the service of trade promotion for its members as well as any business operating in its territorial boundary i.e. Lekhnath city.
2. Training and Incubation:
LCCI also provides trainings and workshops to empower people with the idea of business establishment and its operation. It regularly conducts trainings and seminars on subjects like Tax, VAT, Information Technology and Business, and so on with the motive of acquainting its members and general public about government rules and regulations as well as latest trends in business and ecomomy. Besides, LCCI also incubates start-ups and provide them assistance for better productivity.
3. Information Center:
LCCI provides the service as an information center by collecting, analyzing and presenting information about various aspects of business.
4. Conference and Training Hall Facility:
LCCI has halls and seminar rooms that can be used for organizing meetings and gatherings.
5. Mediation and Others:
LCCI assists in mediating as a third party in cases of trade disputes between or among its members as well as stakeholders. Besides, LCCI provides other services such as bank loan assistance, business registration, documentation, and so on.

प्रिय सदस्यहरू तथा समुदायका सम्मानित महानुभावहरू,
